ICDS Roar

Overview of Services

The Institute for Computational and Data Sciences provides high-performance computing solutions through the Roar supercomputer, formerly known as ICDS-ACI. The Roar supercomputer is Penn State’s high-performance research cloud. Here, you’ll find all the tools that you need to get an account and perform your research with Roar compute and storage resources. Users can run jobs at no cost using the system's Open Queue, or purchase an allocation for dedicated resources. The system offers a variety of storage and compute options, including CPU, GPU, and virtual cores as well as active and archive storage options. ICDS also offers research computing consulting services and can work with researchers on custom research computing solutions.
